Lotus Transformation Exhibition 2013 ( MonLee`s Solo expo)
This exhibition utilized nine different materials to present other beauties of Lotus.
The materials are:
Wood, iron, cloth, paper, plastic, rock, leather, knit and glass.
These materials looked ordinary but can be assembled through special processes to become extraordinary creations.
Lotus digital photo image file is the fundamental element of each creation. "Knit" uses image file and converts to lines. Knitting manually can show other Lotus style. "Glass" is sculpted with special equipment. "Wood" and "Iron" are directly printed with UV printing technology.
" Lotus" exhibition is located in Sheung Wan Hong Kong , an area with many different art shops and exhibition halls.
I imprinted my image on the "rock" .

Expo day received lots of flowers from friends on my exhibition day.
A dress made from "fabric' with a water lily print , the model is MonLee (2013).
Each exhibition label is featured with a different lotus photograph.

This is the UV printing process for real "leather".
Taken at a printing house, we used a light box to clearly check the UV printing effect.
When making a "knit" art piece, need to sketch the design and calculate the stitches before crocheting.

This exhibition photos are shot in South Korea. Fourteen photos were taken in different locations with different inspirations. Each photo shooting trip is a lonely journery . But my mind is not lonely.
Every big tree is always standing by me. Snow flakes hanging on the tree presence everywhere. Endless mountain scenes are recored in my mind permanertly.

An exhibition you can " TOUCH 觸 " .
This is an exhibition where people can touch the photographs ; all exhibits are printed using UV embossing techniques.
The exhibition features 10 artworks themed around flowers. Thrilled to have the Hong Kong Jockey Club as our sponsor for this exhibition!

Each piece is made of wood and has a thickness of 1cm. Paint a thick coat along the edges of the picture frame.
The left side is UV printed only in white, and the right side is a full-color photo of a lotus flower.
This artwork features a beautiful embossed effect.
